CONTRACT REVIEW AND NEGOTIATION
We negotiate a wide range of commercial and business contracts, as part of our real estate transactions practice, including, vendor agreements, property management agreements, architectural and design agreements, consulting agreements, professional services agreements, and nondisclosure agreements. We negotiate and draft construction contracts for property owners and tenants according to project agreement standards including stipulated sum, guaranteed maximum price, and design-build contracts.
We assist clients with procurement from the nondisclosure agreement and RFP/RFQ/RFI stage through the preparation and negotiation of master services agreements and statements of work.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND ‘PLAYBOOK’ DEVELOPMENT
We also help our clients manage and streamline the contract review and negotiation process. We do this by preparing template agreements customized to each client’s unique business needs or reviewing and updating existing contracts to meet best practices and to best accomplish business objectives. We can also create and implement contract negotiation playbooks for our clients with pre-negotiated fallback provisions and negotiating tips and pointers. Contract playbooks help ensure consistency in contracts, minimize uncertainty and risk while maximizing efficiency.
