Michelle Carlston

Michelle is a senior paralegal with over 20 years of experience. She supports the firm’s attorneys in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including commercial leases, subleases, and purchase and sale transactions.

Michelle assists with the drafting and review of a wide range of documents, including commercial leases and lease amendments, subleases and consents, tenant estoppel certificates, and subordination, non-disturbance and attornment agreements. She also performs due diligence on real estate transactions, including survey and title review and zoning research, and assists attorneys with the closing of transactions, including drafting closing documents, escrow instructions, and detailed lease abstracts.

She is experienced in various software programs including Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, Adobe Acrobat, Yardi, and AIR CRE. Michelle received a B.A. in English from California State University, Hayward and her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.
