Pier is an accomplished real estate attorney with over a decade of experience representing landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, investors, and developers in complex commercial real estate transactions. Her experience spans office, industrial, and retail sectors, with expertise in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and related transactional work.

Before joining Valence, Pier gained extensive experience as counsel at several prominent law firms in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and Northern Virginia. During this time, she honed her expertise in drafting and negotiating key documents such as letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and easements. She is also skilled in conducting due diligence and lease audits to assess risks and liabilities. Pier has consistently secured favorable outcomes for her clients through adept negotiation and close collaboration with real estate brokers, clients, and opposing counsel.

Pier is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. She received her B.A. in History from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, with honors.

In her free time, Pier enjoys traveling and going to live music events of all kinds.
