Corinne Wessel joined our firm as Associate in late 2013. Since joining the firm, she has gained substantial experience handling a wide range of transactional real estate matters. Her expertise includes reviewing and negotiating subleases and leases; drafting and negotiating construction contracts; handling real estate due diligence matters of all kinds; and reviewing and negotiating loan documents. She also regularly counsels and assists pro bono small business clients with transactional matters through the Legal Services for Entrepreneurs Program, which is part of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights.
Corinne received her B.A. from the University of California, Davis, in 2010 and her J.D. from Whittier Law School in 2013, graduating Cum Laude, and is now admitted to practice in California. While in law school, Corinne earned the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, acted as an External Justice on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Honors Board, and served as an on-campus legal research expert helping students and faculty members to develop research strategies.
She has completed rigorous internship programs in both public and private sectors including interning with the California State Attorney General’s Los Angeles Office, for Judge Jacqueline H. Nguyen at the US District Court (now Justice of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals), at the law offices of criminal and civil litigator Mark Geragos, and reported directly to the Vice President and General Counsel of production and payroll giant, Entertainment Partners.
In her spare time, Corinne enjoys participating in outdoor activities, including kayaking, hiking, and competing in fitness events.
