Julia Twarog

Julia is an experienced commercial real estate attorney who represents landlords, tenants, developers, and businesses in complex leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions across the United States.

Prior to joining Valence, Julia served as senior real estate counsel advising clients on the real estate aspects of healthcare M&A transactions and other healthcare real estate matters. She previously served as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at a large parking technology company and as Corporate Counsel at an early education and childcare organization, where she advised business teams on real estate and other commercial transactions. Her in-house experience gives her a practical understanding of how real estate decisions affect a client’s operations, financial priorities, and broader business objectives.

Julia has also practiced at nationally recognized firms in New York and Boston, where she focused extensively on commercial leasing and represented landlords and tenants in office, retail, laboratory, and industrial transactions.

Julia is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New York. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her undergraduate degree in East Asian Studies and History from Harvard College.
